Earth Day Tour at Superstition Farm
April 22nd at 11am
Learn in the classroom, take a guided hay-ride to see over 1000 cows, hand feed animals including a horse, donkey, goats, sheep, & calves, pet a bunny, hold a chicken. Reservations strongly suggested, tour expected to sell out. $7.50/adults, $5.50/kids age 1 and over.

Earth Day Party at the Phoenix Zoo
Saturday the 23rd from 9am to 4pm

Earth Day Celebration at the Environmental Education Center in Chandler
Friday, April 22 from 3pm to 7 pm
The event is free, open to the public, and appropriate for all ages. Fun and activities for all ages including: arts and crafts for kids, photos with Smokey Bear, live animal presentation, and make-your-own green cleaning products to take home. Picnic for the Planet: April 23, 11 a.m. Promoted by The Nature Conservancy, organized by your community, celebrating great people and great food. Meet at the McClung Home, 1605 W. 7th Place in Mesa and get a tour of their amazing Garden Pool that Kathryn posted about here. Go here for info and here to RSVP.
Don't forget, Wednesday is Bike2Work Day which includes an Earth Day Expo at the north plaza of the Mesa City Plaza. Stop by and buy some pancakes or smoothies on your way to work to benefit a good cause.
Easter Pageant: Jesus the Christ
The pageant continues Tuesday through Saturday at 8pm at the LDS Temple north lawn, 525 East Main St in Mesa. Admission is free to the largest outdoor Easter Pageant in the world. Go here for more info.
Easter Egg Hunt at Golfland
Saturday, April 23rd at 10 am. Kids look around the miniature golf course for eggs filled with candy, prizes and Golfland/Sunsplash admission tickets and gift cards. Three age categories are offered for the 15-minute hunts. Registration required, go here to register.
Easter Egg Hunt in Apache Junction
Saturday, April 23rd. First hunt begins at 9:00am
Free event at Prospector Park in Apache Junction. There will be an early bird pancake breakfast for a small donation, game booths, and egg hunts for all ages and more. Go here for info.
