Fundraiser at Yodipity
Friday, April 22 from 5-9pm Yodipity Frozen Yogurt in Mesa Riverview
Support children with disabilities in the Phoenix area and enjoy some great frozen yogurt. During those hours on Friday, 15% of all sales will go directly to the Easter Seals foundation for an event called "Walk With Me." Thanks to Cathy for emailing us the info.
MAC FestDowntown Mesa on Main and Macdonald Streets
Free to the public, every Saturday from 10am to 4pm in downtown Mesa featuring creations from local artists, food, live music, and fun for the whole family. MACFest offers a consistent, easy, and affordable way for the many wonderful artists in Mesa, the Valley, and Arizona to expose and sell their work. Go here for more info.

Mill Avenue District Third Thursdays
5pm to 10pm in the Mill Avenue District (try 5th and Mill). This month's event is "Girls Night Out" and includes a walking fashion show, mini-manicures, all-female music lineup and more. Go here for details.
Tempe Marketplace Third Thursday Fun Run
Every 3rd Thursday March-November, Road Runner Sports at Tempe Marketplace will host an Adventure Fun Run from 5-9pm. Here's the deal: You'll run to checkpoints and pick up free raffle tickets, accumulate as many as you can potentially win $1,000 in prizes and giveaways! Afterwards, enjoy the after party. ASU Spring Pow Wow
Begins 5:30 p.m. Friday and 11:30 a.m. Saturday and April 24.
ASU Band Practice Field at Sixth Street and Rural Road in Tempe.
$7-$10 per person; free for those younger than 6 or older than 60. Bring in canned food or hygeine products for reduced admission. Enjoy Native American music and dance and according to the East Valley Tribune: "There are also indigenous arts and crafts booths and piping hot fry bread so good it’ll make you want to slap your grandma for never making you anything so delicious." Short Film and Video Festival
Bring your lawn chairs to the back lawn of the ASU Art Museum for this free, annual, outdoor film festival. The films are created by beginning and experienced filmmakers and feature different styles and various techniques. Each year the event receives submissions from around the world.
