- Now is the time to get your orders in for apples from the Fruit Lady. "On Thursday, October 27th, just a few days before Halloween, I will have crisp Utah apples and more yummy tomatoes.  The fresh picked varieties are: Fuji, Jonathan, Rome, Golden Delicious, Red Delicious and Granny Smith.  A bushel box (42 pounds) of apples is $28.00.  The apples are picked right off the trees into a box. They are not waxed. Each bushel box contains one variety of apples.  Beefsteak tomatoes arrive with the apples.  A 24 pound box is $20.00."  Barbie will only get in one shipment, so you must pre-order.  Call or e-mail her:  azfruitlady@yahoo.com or 480 844-9953.  Please include full name, phone number and the specific variety of apples you would like, and number of boxes.  Deadline for pre-order is Monday, Oct. 24th at noon.
