Fun and Family: Kid-Friendly Events for the Week of April 4th

Dino Egg Hunt at the Museum of Natural History
Friday, April 8 from 5:30pm to 8pm at 53 N. McDonald in Mesa.
Egg hunt, children’s craft activities and a dinosaur touch cart for kids to learn more about dinosaur eggs. Dino eggs will be replenished that evening until 7:15 p.m, so you don't have to be there right at 5:30. Special discount pricing for this event is $7 for adults over 18 years, children 3 to 17 are $4 and members are free. Just for Kids Walk At Usery Mountain Park
This 1-mile hike is designed for parents and grandparents with small children and led by a park guide.  The hard-smooth surface of this trail will accommodate wheelchairs and strollers. Please bring water and hats. Walk starts at Area 6. 
For ages 3 to 6 with parent. Cost is $6
per vehicle. * Friday, April 8th, 9 am to 10am at Usery Mountain Park

Gilbert Global Village Festival
This family event highlights some of the traditional and contemporary forms of dance, music, children’s activities, arts & crafts and ethnic foods from countries far away. 
Saturday, April 9, 2011 from 9:30 am until 4:00 pm
Gilbert Civic Center North Campus, 50 E Civic Center Drive (Southeast corner of Gilbert and Warner Roads) on grass.
11:00 to 11:30am there is a Parade of Nations featuring the Town's Children.

Kids Safety Fair
Kids will enjoy games and activities to help them learn about safety from professionals
including police officers, fire fighters, nurses and sheriffs. Fair also features live music and face painting.
