I'll be honest. I didn't really like the freezing temperatures and my trees and plants didn't like them at all. Now that it's warming up a little, but not too much, we spend most of our time outside. This is why we live in Mesa!
My Wake-up Wednesday pick of the week is actually simple: Yard Work. Get out and get busy readying your yard for spring growth. I've been hauling rocks and pruning citrus trees this week. Pulling weeds can be quite the stress reliever actually. But, if you need something more structured, check out these upcoming runs. (I highlighted the ones we haven't featured before)

3rd Annual Walk in the Wild at the Phoenix Zoo - Saturday, February 19th, 2011. "Choose the One Mile or the 5K Walk / Run. Each walker receives a commemorative T-shirt, entrance into the Walk in the Wild post-party and admission into the Zoo for the day." This is not a timed race. Retro Run - Saturday, February 19, 2011. 5K at Freestone Park. Dress in your best 80's attire and come run. Best male and female costumes go home with a cruiser bike. Go here for more details.

Great Urban Race - Saturday, March 12, 2011. "A wild urban adventure. Teams solve twelve clues and complete exciting mental and physical challenges while discovering the city in a fresh way!" Basically, this sounds like getting to participate in the Amazing Race without having to be on T.V. Awesome! Go here to register for the race held in Phoenix.
