This Week's Out and About Events

2nd Friday – Sweethearts on Main
Feb. 11th, 6-10pm, Downtown Mesa
The latest installation of “2nd Friday” in Mesa includes the usual favorites: art booths, places to shop, places to eat with plenty of food and drink specials, live entertainment, games and prizes, and even a bit of swing dancing this time around. All for FREE!! We mentioned it here on the blog before but if you haven’t been yet, it’s time to go! More details here.

Shows and Productions: If you’re up for a bit of live music or entertainment this weekend, there are several options around the valley:

Mesa Arts Center: A variety of performances to choose from, such as: Joshua Bell, Spamalot, Jazz music, Puss ‘N Boots, Menopause the Musical, and more. For show times and prices, go here
.
Mesa’s own National Comedy Theatre: A great little improv almost smack in the middle of Mesa, featuring a special mushy-gooey show just for Valentine's Day. Tickets and show info here.

Ballet Arizona’s “Don Quixote” at Symphony Hall with the Phoenix Symphony. They say “It’s a festive comedy with Cupid, gypsies, puppets, Spanish dances, and more!” Details found here.

Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre – Dinner and a show all wrapped up in one place. Watch one of the current running shows or participate in solving the mystery in Murder on the Strip. Details found here.

Hale Centre Theatre – “Here Lies Jeremy Troy” – A fun play about a lawyer who has just about everything a lawyer could want… except a law degree, and he’s about to be made partner in the firm. Find out how it ends by getting your ticket info here
