Get Active in Mesa: There's a Run for Everyone

This is the time of year to get out and get active in the valley, whether you are a seasoned runner or more like myself and trying it for the first time.  There are several races coming up in the next several months, in the valley and right here in Mesa.  Kathryn already let you know about one, and here are a few other Mesa events in the next month.  You can find these and more courtesy of Active.com.  Click the links to get more information including fees and to register for each event.

The City of Mesa Halloween Adult & Youth Sprint Triathlon & Duathlon

On December 11th at Freestone Park, there is a race called the 12k's of Christmas. It will be a 12k and a 6k along with a fun run for kids. Another website that I use all the time is getsetaz.com which has listings for runs, walks, triathlons, biking and more!

Reading people's blogs is what inspired me to do some running myself. Looking forward to seeing you Camille! Which race are you running? Thanks Nichelle for the info! Maybe I'll have to do the Turkey Trot this year too. I hear these things get addictive. :)
