City Events This Weekend:Community Day of Play and Free Movie Night

Looking for something free to do in Mesa this weekend?  Take the kids down at 6pm to see an outdoor showing of Casper.  At 8 the viewing of The Ring would make a great activity for teenagers and adults.  Or if you are so inclined, why not stay for both?

Free Family Movie Night at Mesa Amphitheatre
Saturday, Oct. 23 is a Free Movie Night at the Mesa Amphitheatre. A Halloween double feature will be shown, Casper (PG) at 6 p.m. and The Ring (PG-13) at 8 p.m. Doors will open at 4:30 p.m. Bounce houses, children activities and concessions will be available. The Mesa Amphitheatre is located at 201 N. Center St.

Now that the weather is cooling down it is a great time to get out and enjoy Mesa's parks.  Here's just the event to do that:

LOL. Could the movies be more opposite? I can't even handle the ring, but I am a baby.
