Arizona's Salsa Trail and Salsa Festival

This sounds like the most awesome road trip ever.  Why did I not know about Arizona's Salsa Trail?

From their website:

Arizona’s Salsa Trail® is all about terrific Mexican food and down-home friendliness. Sprinkled through the small Southern Arizona communities of Safford, Pima, Thatcher, Solomon, Clifton, Duncan, Willcox, and York are a dozen Mexican restaurants, a family owned tortilla factory and a lady who grows chilies who have all joined together to make up the Salsa Trail®. '
To find your way down Arizona's Salsa Trail, you can buy the guidebook here or just use these maps and make your way to the restaurants yourself.

Or, check out the Salsa Festival happening in Safford, AZ next month:

Salsa Festival
September 24th-25th

Salsa Tasting Competition (Enjoy several varieties of salsa and vote on your favorite)
Hot air balloons
Arizona Skyhawks skydiving team show
Kids activities like pinatas, bounce houses, and face painting

Go here for more information.

Anyone else going?  We'll see you there.
