Summers for us are no different than the other 9 months of the year due to the fact that my 4 girls are not school age yet (that changes this August though). However, the past month has seemed to be chalk full of extra fun stuff. Movies, day trips, fishing, pools...we seem to be following our guide to a T. Right now my girls are spending some quiet time making bracelets so that they can be all rested up to go help Mesa Parks and Recreation celebrate 75 years of service! Marily and I both worked for Parks and Rec. back our younger days. From the time I was 13 to 21 every summer was spent either volunteering or working as a counselor at the Boredom Busters program. That experience helped me become who I am today. We love Mesa Parks and Recreation and we hope you can make it out tonight to help celebrate also.
