Come out February 5th to enjoy a fun night of food and music to raise money to battle poverty in Ethiopia.
Jennifer Brinkerhoff is working with the non-profit Hope Arising to bring a water line to the dry village of Dera, Ethiopia. This Saturday she is hosting her 40th birthday bash in which she hopes to raise $40,000 for this cause. One hundred percent of the tax deductible funds raised will be used to complete the water line in Dera as well as begin micro finance loans to vulnerable women and children.
The event will include live performances by up and coming country trio, Firefly and singer Jordan Bluth with his wife Kaitlynn, Ethiopian music, authentic Ethiopian food, photographs, and stories of the people of Dera.
