The chicken is sold by the case, and each case is 40 pounds. (You get four 10-pound bags sealed inside a larger bag. Great opportunity for canning chicken too!!). This is awesome. Do you by chance know how far or where I will need to go to pick it up? That might change my mind.
I just picked up and got my 160lbs of chicken divided up between my friends and got mine in the freezer! It was so easy and worth it! I am looking forward to next time they come through. The gentleman there said they are hoping for 3 times a year, but if it goes over well, then every month would be great! YEA!
