I think it is the city of mesa who has their turkey trot every year at Red Mtn Park too! It is on Thursday morning.
That's right, there is a turkey trot sponsored by Mi Amigo's at Red Mt Park. You have to register for that one, it is a formal race. http://www.raceplaceevents.com/event.php?event=401002
