Come on out and help the City of Mesa celebrate the opening of a new segment of Ray Road near Phoenix-Mesa Gateway Airport.
There are two portions to this event, the fun run at 7am then the party in the street from 8 to 10. The free event will feature rock music, bounce houses, balloon animals, food and a stretch of brand new road where families can run, walk, bike and skate.
Let’s Move Mesa, a fun run, walk and roll beginning at 7 a.m. presented by Cardon Children’s Medical Center. The first 50 attendees will receive a free T-shirt. Parking will be located at Chandler-Gilbert Community College and in front of the airport administration buildings. There will be free shuttle service to the event with buses picking up and dropping off passengers every ten minutes.
All of the new roads will be open to traffic in time for the morning rush-hour commute Monday, Oct. 18.Rockin' on Ray Road 8-10am
