A Birthday Party with FREE Flu Shots

I'm hoping that title made you do a double-take, because that's exactly what it is: a birthday party with FREE flu shots! Okay, I'm sure you're asking yourself, "What kind of a sick parent would give kids shots at a birthday party?" Never fear, my pet. Let me put your mind at ease:

The Cardon Children's Medical Center, located on Dobson Road just North of US-60, is celebrating it's 1st birthday next Saturday, Oct. 30, from 10am-2pm. Events include:

• Free bike helmets and flu shots for the first 200 kids
• Healthy snacks
• Health screenings
• Professional storyteller
• Educational lectures (Learn about immunizations, dangers in your home, first aid, child development and more)
• Radio Disney costume contest (you even get a prize just for dressing up, while supplies last)

• Liberty wildlife bird demonstration
