I'm thrilled when we have people send us information for events we may not have otherwise known about. This one comes from my older sister. Head out to Usery Mountain Regional Park for a sunset hike. Arizona is known for it's beautiful sunsets and this one surely won't disappoint (and have you felt the weather lately - gorgeous).
"Join us for this 2.5-mile hike as we enjoy a gorgeous sunset in the west and the rise of the full moon in the east. If you’ve never done a hike like this before, it’s a great time to experience new sights and sounds of the desert! Bring your sense of adventure and a flashlight. Groups call ahead, and no pets, please. Please bring water and appropriate footwear. Location: Trail Staging Area."

Ellsworth, north of McDowel Road.The cost to get into Usery Pass is $6 per vehicle.
