EVMCO Concert at Gammage

I used to play the violin.  Okay, I still try to get it out once in a while, but there is something about good music and hearing a full orchestra that makes me energized.  Like I can conquer just a little bit more in my life.  And I don't think I'm the only one that loves the feeling that good music brings.

This Friday, May 21st at Gammage Auditorium, 7:30 PM,  the East Valley Mormon Choral Organization is having their third concert entitled "O, America".  It is themed around patriotism, a tribute to our country and those that have served our country.   Tickets range from $15 to $25.

The East Valley Mormon Choral Organization is a non-profit choral organization that performs classical and sacred music.  It consists of players and singers of all ages, from the college grad and beyond to 4 year olds.  It is open to all faiths.

The orchestra will also be playing Rhapsody in Blue with Brandon Stewart, a julliard grad in piano performance. William Joseph, composer and recording artist, will also be performing with the choir and orchestra in a few numbers.

It is a perfect opportunity for a date night or for the whole family.

Thanks Crystal for the info and good luck on the performance.

You can read about the choir on AZ Central here or check out their website and buy tickets here.
