April is also Valley Bike Month. Riding your bike is a great way to save money, reduce pollution and get fit. In celebration, the City of Mesa is hosting their 2nd Annual Bike4Life FREE family bike ride.
Saturday, April 24th
The ride starts at Mountain View Park and is a twelve mile out-and-back ride to Mesa Multigenerational Center.
"Registration begins at 9:00 AM and the ride starts at 9:30 AM. There will be free t-shirts for riders, while supplies last, along with a raffle for prizes. Raffle tickets are $1 and all proceeds will benefit the Not One More foundation, whose goal is to stop collisions between cyclists and vehicles. Helmets are required for all bike ride participants."
Also at this event will be Radio Disney and a green fair with city of Mesa booths and other vendors highlighting environmental programs and products. So bring the whole family and bring your stash of grocery bags, cause they'll be recycling those too.
