Cooking Classes

Saturday - unhealthy fast food lunch for 4: $17
Saturday - at home prepared dinner for 4 with accompanying healthy sides, main dish and dessert, plus the family bonding of preparing a meal together (yes, our three year olds love to help in the kitchen) and extra groceries to spare: $13

We have really come to understand the importance of a good family meal these last few years and although our meals have become more healthy and more family oriented, we still have room to grow to make the process easier and more yummy (plus I know we can learn more in the nutrition department as well).

We have talked about Kara Bagley before. She is back with 6 cooking classes to get us cooking better (remember her moto is, "What good is a healthy dish if nobody eats it.")

"The new year is in full swing and it is the perfect time to work towards your goals. With that, I am kicking off my first six weeks of cooking classes. They will be held at my home in East Mesa. Contact me via email at karabagley@gmail.com to register. No pre-payment required. No children please.

These classes are directed towards a broad audience as the recipes and instruction are adaptable to the variable levels of budgets, time and health. They are also largely accommodating to those in attendance through discussion. Come, have fun, eat good food and be inspired to cook."

I'm just in awe over her organized pantry. For other ideas and to check out Kara's work, go to her blog here.
