Nie Nie

Most of you have followed the news of the devastating small plane crash that happened 3 months ago that has since changed the lives of countless people. Today at a church meeting, I sat by the widow of Doug Kinneard. He was a man of great honor and principle that lost his life due to injuries sustained from the accident. As I sat by his wife, I was once again able to draw from her example, her love, and her faith. She is able to smile and be happy despite the difficulty of losing her loving husband, the father of her children, and the grandfather of her soon to be first grandchild. She knows that so many others bear difficult trials and therefore she continues to serve. She has kept in contact with the Nielson family and has such a great love for them. She wants what is best for them.

With this being said, I hope we can be like Doug Kinneard's wife and continue to serve and help those around us despite our own trials and difficult times. The Nielsons still need our help. They will soon be moving to Utah to continue rehab and to be closer to their 4 young children. Let's show them that Mesa, a town they call home, is there to help and support them during this time of numerous changes.
Saturday, November 22nd go to Habit Salon to help out while being pampered. Who doesn't like a little make-over now and again? Go here for more information and to sign up. Also go here for other ways to help.
We hope to see you there!
