TODAY - November 11th, while you're in downtown enjoying the parade, make sure to check out: Just Hangin’ Fine Arts Festival.
The outdoor event will be held today from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM in front of the Multigenerational Center at 247 N. Macdonald St. "The show will feature original fine art and fine crafts including paintings, drawings, jewelry and ceramics by Mesa Art League members. Vendors will also sell prints, gicleés, note cards, magnets, bookmarks and other reproduction art. It’s a great place to find beautiful gifts for the holidays! Additionally, attendees can visit with local authors and peruse their books, and children will be challenged to create in the young artist booth."

Maybe I'll see you downtown. My plan: hit the parade with my sister and her kids, try out the art festival and finish up with Sonic Happy Hour with half priced drinks and slushies from 2-5 pm.
