The Arizona State Fair

The state fair is here again. Whether you are going for the fried food on a stick or to see a huge pig, the state fair has a lot to offer. Plus, as one article I read points out, you can do some of the best people watching there. You surely won't be disappointed with the varied selection. This same article points out some ways to do the fair a little more cost effective. Check it out if you plan on attending.

Fair dates are October 10th - November 2nd, 2008

Fair Hours:

Closed Mondays

Tuesday - Friday – Open at 12:00 noon

Saturday and Sunday – Open at 10:00 am

Fair Admission:

Adult - $12

Child (ages 5 - 13) - $6

Senior (ages 55 and up) - $6

Children under 5 - FREE

One big reason people go the the state fair is for the concerts. All shows are free with paid admission to the fair or you can reserve seats for a fee through Ticketmaster and the Coliseum Box Office. Separate fair admission is still required.
