Fun and Family March 7th

Here are your events for the week:


Chandler Ostrich Festival
Friday through Sunday, March 11th-13th
Ostrich racing, live music, medieval jousting, petting zoo, pig races, carnival rides and more.  Discount ride wristband tickets available at Frys Food stores and Chandler Chamber of Commerce.  General admission tickets are $10 for adults and $7 for kids.  Ages 4 and under are free.  Don't miss the Ostrich Festival Parade on Saturday, March 5th at 10am.  It begins at Ray Road and Arizona Ave.

Family Storytime at Red Mountain Library
Thursday, March 10th from 10:30 am to 11am
Red Mountain Library; 635 N. Power Rd. in Mesa.  For more info, call 480-644-3183

Aloha Festival
March 12th-13th from 10am to 5pm daily, at Tempe Beach Park
Celebrate with music, dancing, martial arts, food, and shopping from Hawaii, Tonga, Samoa, and neighboring islands.  For more info, go here.  Festival admission and performances are free.

While the weather is perfect, get yourselves outside.  Go on a hike, or find a new park in Mesa to visit.

Or, stroll down Main Street on Saturday for MAC Fest.  10am to 4pm every Saturday.  While you're down there grab a bite to eat at Mango's Mexican Cafe or enjoy some frozen yogurt at Sweet Cakes.
