Things have slowed down a bit around town after the busyness of the holiday season. Check out one of these events, or go to our Local Attractions page for a long list of places to go around town. Under "Ongoing Events" you'll find several fun things to do.

Run, Walk, Roll 5k, 10k, and fun run/walks
Saturday, January 8th
Tempe Beach Park
Funds for Run, Walk, Roll go to Arizona Disabled Sports to raise funds for sports and recreational activities for individuals with all types of disabilities. There is a race for everyone, go here for more information.
FLAGG Mineral Show
Southwest parking lot at Mesa Community College (Dobson Road just north of the 60)
Free admission and free parking.
This mineral show is a fun family event with lots to see. Free activities for children, including digging for fossils and free mineral samples for children and teachers. Also, lots of dealers selling jewelry, beads, and minerals. Go here and here for more information.
