Lets get out this week. Weather is cooling. Fall is in the air. At Usery Pass events are still going strong this week. Do Yoga in Nature, take a birdwatching class, hike to the wind caves or enjoy a hike especially designed to teach the young ones in your family. Go here to check out all the upcoming events at Usery Pass.
And if you are really in a get out and get active mood, maybe go run Mesa's Mi Amigos Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving Day. Do a 10k, or 1 and 2 mile fun run.
Also on Thanksgiving is Arizona's one and only Thanksgiving Day parade in Fountain Hills. We've told you about it in years past, so maybe this is your year to check it out. Parade starts at 9:00 AM at the corners of Saguaro and El Lago Boulevards. Fountain Hills events found here.
Or maybe you would like to get into the Christmas spirit. Head down to the LDS temple located at 525 E. Main Street this Friday, November 26th. There will be a lighting ceremony starting at around 7:00 PM. Each night after until December 31st, lights will be lit from 5:30 PM to 10:00 PM with an evening performance at 7:00 PM. Check out the concert schedule here.
And...don't forget Our Favorite Things giveaways. For the following weeks we will highlight things around town that we love and feel would make unique holiday gifts. Besides, buying local is always encouraged here at I Heart Mesa.
Enter our Arizona Youth Museum giveaway here. And remember code IHM13 gets you a 13 month membership for the 12 month price.
