City Hall at the Mall

Alright - it's Monday.  Halloween comes for a visit in a mere 6 days.  Do you have something to do?  Well, there is certainly a lot going on in Mesa to keep you and your family busy this weekend.  And it is always an added bonus when it is FREE things to do in Mesa.

First up on spotlight list for this week:
City Hall at the Mall
October 30th from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM
at Superstition Springs Mall:  6555 E. Southern Ave.

This event will feature:
"Nearly 20 City of Mesa departments, including Transportation; Library; Development and Sustainability; Mesa Arts Center and Parks, Recreation and Commercial Facilities will have displays and information set up in the center court area. Outside Superstition Springs Center, there will be displays on the Plaza and parking lot near The Cheesecake Factory. Mesa Police and Mesa Fire will have equipment, including the police helicopter, SWAT Team armored truck, DUI van, fire engine and residential fire sprinkler unit. The City will have a new energy efficient hydraulic launch assist recycle truck on site, which has a hybrid design and uses hydraulic force to move the truck from a dead stop. This allows the vehicle to move forward without consuming fuel when accelerating below 25 mph. Valley Metro will have a LINK bus and Southwest Ambulance will have two of its vehicles on display at the event.

Along with the City displays, representatives from Superstition Springs Center will have a table in the center court area with information about the mall. Customers will also have an opportunity to sign-up to win a $100 Westcor gift card, as well as participate in a raffle for several prizes, including tickets from ASU, passes to City museums and golf courses and gift cards from mall stores and restaurants. Parents are encouraged to bring their children in Halloween costumes since many of the tables will have candy available."

I really tried to paraphrase, but this one seems to have a lot to offer and I didn't want to miss any fabulous details.  All information taken directly from City of Mesa site here.
