Astronomy Night

It's back.  Generally the first Friday of the month, it's Astronomy Night at MCC again.  This event includes a 30-minute show in the planetarium and telescope viewing.  Free fun for the whole family.

This Friday, June 4th from 6:00 to 10:00 pm.

The show for June 4th is "IBEX: Search for the Edge of the Solar System".

Planetarium shows begin at 6:00pm and repeat every half hour. The last show begins at 9:30pm and ends at 10:00pm. FREE show tickets are handed out at the event on a first-come, first-served basis. Wait times are usually no more than 30 minutes. If a staff member does not approach you about tickets during the event, please ask for them!
During Astronomy Nights, we also offer telescope viewing of the Moon, planets, and other celestial sights. Unlike the planetarium shows, telescope viewing will only occur if the skies are clear.

Astronomy Nights are held at the Physical Science Building (PS 15) just east of Dobson Road, two traffic lights south of Southern Avenue. Please see the map for our location on MCC's Southern & Dobson campus.

Free parking is available in the lots south of the Physical Science Building. Please avoid parking in the "Employee Lot".
For more information, go here.  Picture and information taken from there too.

Have fun,
