Saturday Spotlight: Arizona Museum for Youth

Saturday Spotlight gives you an idea for some last-minute fun on Saturday or any other day. We will spotlight a different place to visit in Mesa or its surrounding neigborhoods.

If you live in the East Valley and have young children, you probably already know about the Arizona Museum for Youth.  But there is some exciting news at the museum today.  For the past several months the museum has been undergoing renovations.  They are finally complete!  Check out the museum for the very first time or go back and see what all the excitement is about (new expanded lobby, enlarged Artville play area, etc).

The museum hosts rotating interactive art exhibitions for children as well as Artville, a fun little community for kids under four years old.  There is even an area designated specifically for infants.  Here are the current exhibits going on in the galleries:



Prices for yearly memberships are quite reasonable, or you can pay for a single visit.

Admission:  $6.50: 1yr+ thru Adults
