I'm a personal fan of the staycation. My girls love staying in a hotel. It doesn't matter if we vacation 10 hours or 20 minutes away, the thrill for them is the hotel. In Arizona, we have a variety of fine resorts that offer great deals during summer months. We also get the added bonus of saving on gas and time. So it's worth a look. Check out Legacy Resort here. I checked it out. The rooms really are spacious. Use the kitchen to cook your own meals or enjoy resort activities. They may only have one fancy pool, but I think my girls would enjoy it.
