The City of Mesa, Parks, Recreation and Commercial Facilities Department
is offering free swim lessons at Shepherd Aquatic Complex, 1407 N. Alta
Mesa Dr. Lessons are taught by instructors-in-training and will evaluate
each child’s swimming ability, review techniques, and teach new swimming
skills.
Two sessions are offered for children ages five to 10. The first session
is from Mar. 17-19 at 3:30 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. The second session is on
Apr. 1, 6, and 8 at 5:15 p.m. and 6 p.m. Classes are capped at 20
children per class. Please plan on attending all three classes.
