Wow, it feels like the year has just begun and we are already having 2nd Friday festivities. I think the committee that plans these events are working even harder to make sure that Mesa can enjoy a fun family friendly activity each month which appeals to a wide variety of people. The one this Friday, January 8th, 2010 from 6:00 - 10:00 PM looks interesting with plans for things like a pinewood derby and a sock hop. Just check out the variety of activities listed. (Someone should tell them that next time they need to include a hula-hoop contest for the 50's and 60's night theme. That's one contest I could hold my own in.)

Just so you know - there is supposed to be a hula hoop contest at oneohone (101 W. Main) - so you can put your theory to the test! Can't wait to see it.
