Although I've never been myself, I have heard that pictures with Santa at Bass Pro are the best. Apparently there isn't really a line. I believe it, because who would think to take their children to Bass Pro to whisper wishes into Santa's ear? To jump start this event, there will be a preview night Sunday, November 9th. Go enjoy the chance to win one of the Santa's gift card giveaways, get a free 4x6 photo with Santa and enjoy free hot chocolate and cookies.
If you can't make it Sunday, you will miss out on the giveaway and the free treats, but you will still be eligible for a free 4x6 photo during the remaining visits. The schedule is as follows: Monday through Friday from 5-9:00pm, Saturday from 10am - 9:00pm and Sunday from Noon-5pm. For obvious reasons, this event ends December 24th.
Other activities (per the Riverview website): RC Trucks, free Soft Gun Arcade, Red Ryder Laser Arcade, mail letters to Santa, weekend giftwrapping to support local groups, toy drive benefits Mesas La Mesita Family Shelter, and weekend activity tables 12-5pm (begins Nov 15th).

We took our son here last year, it is AWESOME! The background was great, no line great deal! We plan on going again this year.
