This is one of those events that I used to hear about AFTER the fact, usually by reading someone's amazing account of their fun evening on their blog thinking, "Why didn't I know about that." No longer my friends. Good thing for IHEARTMESA, now you can hear about exciting things like the APS Fantasy of Lights Opening Night before it happens. Events like these are the reason I started this blog.

Enjoy the beauty of the holiday season amid the glittering lights of the Mill Avenue District's winter wonderland with more than 45,000 spectators joining in the fun! The APS Fantasy of Lights kicks off with an Opening Night Parade and Tempe's festive holiday tree lighting ceremony at Centerpoint on Mill Plaza.

Festivities include street entertainers. Santa Claus arrives to hear children's special gift requests, and a spectacular fireworks finale tops off the evening.
