PARADE

I need a parade. Do you need a parade? Wouldn't one be fantastic this time of year? Well thanks to wonderful community volunteers, you'll be able to enjoy one. Mark your calendars for:

Novermber 11th, 2008

Veterans Day Parade
Downtown Mesa from 11:00 AM to noon.

The parade will begin near University Drive and Center Street, then travel south on Center Street to 1st Avenue. It will then turn right (west) on 1st Avenue and end at Macdonald Street.

Following the parade, from noon to 3 p.m, there will be a military vehicles display, a demonstration by the Jr. ROTC, a fallen soldiers display, and speeches and patriotic performances. These activities, and possibly others, will all be in the downtown area.
