Here's your opportunity to extend Halloween, burn off the candy and junk food you eat Friday night and/or just have a good time.
Saturday, November 1st, the First Annual Great Pumpkin Race and Festival will be held at Mesa Riverview from 3-8:00pm. Full list of events from the website:
The event and expo will include a 5K Great Pumpkin Run and 1 Mile Mini Pumpkin Family & Pet Fun Run in costume! The event will also feature children’s activities and a safe trick-or-treat, extending the Halloween festivities just one more day.
For more information on race times and entrance fees (sign up before Saturday and get a discount), see here. Racers and pets are encouraged to be in costume. Even if you aren't interested in running, there will be other entertainment. Just watching people run in costume would constitute entertainment in my life!
